"Milton’s Ancient Hallowed Acre"

box tombs

table tomb/ledger stone

This might be the brick tomb from the 1953 article. There is no indication of who’s buried there.

A fairly recent floral arrangement had blown inside the broken brick walls.

The Richmonds’ fencing was manufactured by The Stewart Ironworks in Cincinnati, OH.

From a distance, I thought I’d stumbled upon a carefully planned design. I was wrong.

Possible tree damage on the wrought iron fencing.

The only information I could find out about Lee Warlick was that he was a lawyer and helped found Charlotte’s Macon School.

“Aloah.” (?)

I’m not sure if the tombstone belongs to this crypt.
